simplicity broken into fragments of time scattered throughout the halls
memories shattered on broken earth
a corpse lays where I once…
dementia never felt so good, or so maybe I lie
within the abstract colonies of my thoughts
I discredit the deeds done by the forlorn and the misdirected
me
so far from advantage and so close to an answer
yet still grasping at the thin layer of air as it passes over the surface
sure to knock down a pillar or two
as I find a point of memory and crucifixion of space
knowing the whole time it is but an angle of glass
passing before my face
falling in shards
to the hard surface
below
