losing control of all reflexes
watching the stars pass by
sitting on the edge of perception
slowly contemplating all
that was seen
that was done
time passes by
flowing out with the tides
the moons shadow looms overhead
dreadful in its melancholy
lightless reflection
as the sea calms
the winds stop blowing
a rotational stop for an instant
a moment of clarity
a feeling of
hopelessness
passing by a million buildings of steel
dripping from the outer hinges of the earth
a side mirror view of reality
motions you aside to speak
do not tell anyone
but what you see
is not what you really see
what you see
is just what you want to see
good bad
light dark
evil
perceptive glances of the suns reflection
on the base of your skull
copying the theater
relative
motionless villains of a forgotten memory
prod you into taking a fall
down you plunge into the deep
forever falling
into
that dark memory
trapped between dusk
you might catch a glimpse
of all the things that are true
all the things you made up
all the things you were conditioned to believe
may just fall into parts
dissecting them
may unravel
this inscrutable secret
